Litchfield Fifth Grade Boys Travel Basketball

submitted by John Brunelle

The Litchfield fifth grade boys travel basketball team completed a successful 2008-2009 Manchester Suburban Basketball League season, winning the MSBL Boys 5/6 Division 3 championship against Hooksett, 32-24.  During the season these individual boys became a team, winning many close games and losing a few.  As a parent watching from the sidelines, I was amazed and proud to see the boys become a team.  I watched good players become great players, which is a credit not only to the boys but also to the coaches who volunteered their time and energy.  Congratulations to the boys and coaches for a great season!

Back row:  Bill Gray (coach), Brian Mackey (head coach), Patrick Mackey, Cody St. Clair, Conor Gannon, Michael Gray, Stephen Lowry, Brandon Gerossie, Kevin Grant (coach)
